It’s pretty rare for grooms to contact me, but recently I’ve been getting more of them and I’m finding that they want to be involved in the wedding planning process as well!
Salman works and lives in Washington state. We communicated mainly through email and phone throughout the process up to the wedding day. So when I asked him for his story with Zeenat, I was happy by how open he was about sharing their love story.
He wrote:
“We met at a party in Houston – and the moment I saw her I knew there was something special about her and I wanted to get to know her. It wasn’t easy at first to get close to her, but eventually we both became madly in love and today, we were best friends first, then lovers.”
Their story. Simply romantic and lovely. I thought I’d share snippets of their story here, which is something different, because usually I try to retell my couples’ stories on my blog. But theirs was just too good to rewrite in new words.
Zeenat: “I thought he was very good looking. He was friendly, charismatic, and very optimistic. He had this free-spirited smile on his face and little did I know, I would still go crazy for the same smile.”
Salman: “Zeenat is really pretty – she has the type of eyes that grabs your attention, one that you simple cannot let go. So I was immediately attracted to her. I knew she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.”
After reading their responses, I knew that Salman + Zeenat were going to be a wonderful couple to photograph and I could not wait for our session together!
