I want to go to culinary school.
Okay, that sounds silly because I’m a photographer and the typical response should have been: I want to go to art school. Or something to that nature.
But nope, that’s not what you’re getting here. You see, I’ve loved to cook since I was young. I wasn’t particularly good at it back in the days, but I’ve gained more wisdom through the years (thanks to Food Network)! I like to try out new recipes and experiment in the kitchen. Sometimes the dishes are successful and other times, major fails. In the end, I say: Just go for it. And I definitely re-try failed recipes to get them right.
This is what I had for lunch today. I did it egg + ramen = college student-style.

Yea, ‘ramen’ isn’t very gourmet sounding, but my presentation was good, right?

Here’s to more elegant looking dishes:

Spiced lamb chops on sautéed green peppers and garlic + mint couscous. I made this two nights ago and it was delish! =)
Get ready for a really long blog post!
Jessica and Zeb’s reception was held at the fabulous Magnolia Hotel in Downtown Houston. I second-shot this wedding with the amazing Sharon from Sharon Nicole Photography. Lori, from Special Arrangements, provided the beautiful flowers for this gorgeous wedding. Kelly, from Eventology Weddings, put the whole show together and it was phenomenal!
Here’s a continuation of the photos from Jessica and Zeb’s wedding:
