Photographers need vacations too!

Honestly, as much as I LOVE being a photographer, I need to take a break every once in a while! This year’s wedding season has been intense and it continues to keep my weekends and even weekdays very busy. It has also taken a lot of time away from me resting, spending time with family, and chillin’ with my friends. I’m sorry fans, but I can’t take your calls past office hours. I do have to eat, shower, edit, and gain shut eye. You’ll thank me later for it. Trust me. ;)

So I have packed my bags and I am flying on a jet plane to a place with sweet summers and beaches. My next Tweet will be from OC, California! <3

Amanda is a senior graduating from high school this year! Congrats! :)

I love it when people bring super cute outfits and props. Especially if the props are edible and my clients treat me to some! Amanda’s mom picked up a couple of delicious strawberry cupcakes from Crave Cupcakes. They’re definitely one of my favorite cupcake places to go to! And the yummy treat totally made my day! BIG thanks from my tummy!

It’s been a very busy season for me this year! Especially these past couple of months with lots of weddings and senior portrait sessions. With incredibly awesome clients and fun spots to shoot at, it’s difficult to take a break from all the excitement!

This is Anya. She’s a recent graduate from Baylor University and is such a sweetheart! Anya drove all the way from Waco to Houston for this early morning shoot. Mad props, girl! I’m typically not a morning person, but I couldn’t have been more excited to photograph Anya when I was greeted by her beautiful smile. It’s a great feeling to know that my clients are just as happy to meet me!
